Want to know me, check out my pictures!

Truth be told, I am older than your average wedding or portrait photographer, but not yet over-the-hill.  Dut don't let that put you off.  Check my pictures here on the blog or on my website and see that I SHOOT YOUNG.

I appreciate all the stages of life and have experienced most of them, at my age, ya know.  I love all the areas of photography that I create. Click on the darkened sentence at the end of each paragraph for samplings.

Children I love because their expressions are new, inventive and  almost always surprising.  Having 8 grandchildren, 9th on the way, ought to help, don't you think? Check it out!

Seniors are also inventive.  The girls want to look beautiful and the guys, cool.  I want that, too. Having fun, helping them relax and then just sitting back and clicking away.  I always like to choose the location that suits their persona and the locations are varied.    Check out this Senior.

Families have a tough time because there is usually a male in the mix.  Men hate to have their picture taken and it is like pulling teeth to get them to the location.  I get that.  But let me tell you, it's all about relaxing and having fun with the whole experience.  And that is my job.  If your family is having fun, it's painless and the images will turn out great.  I'm all about capturing the memories of the day.  Make it memorable.

Now Weddings...I love the weddings.  A bride all lit up and a groom that can't keep his off of his bride.  It's magic!  A couple in love always makes me and my photography look good.  See!

I hope you can see that I love what I do and I would love for you to ENJOY THE EXPERIENCE with me.  Call 480-510-9780 or email me today. janet@justmejanet.com

My Camera Needs Fresh Air

“People, people who need people, are the luckiest people in the world.”  It’s true…I heard it in a movie.  But I’m here to tell you this, “People, people that live in Cache Valley, are the luckiest people in the world.”  We all need the right kind of air.  But what about the varied greens and the sky & water blues.  The nostalgic old and the fresh, really fresh new air.  I was lucky enough to fill my lungs and eyes with that world a few decades back.  Actually lived in it.  And I like to frequent there as much as possible, when luck prevails.

My camera loves this kind of nature, too.   In fact I think my camera needs the fresh air as much as I do.  I believe all of our cameras do.  Look at the treasures I found on a walk last year in that valley.  Out with some fast walkers, we saw a few dogs, maybe some cows but very few people.  My advice to you, get out there and take some pictures of anything but people.

People who need people are lucky but people who need, better yet–get–fresh air, viewed through their cameras, are the luckiest people in the world.

Now go and do and Happy Thursday!

February 4, 2010 - 7:49 am Susan Munk - Sorry, shouldn't be confused with a Red Letter Day!

February 4, 2010 - 7:47 am Susan Munk - Kinda of looks familiar. Love the pictures and the area and the memory. But it is kind of funny because Cache Valley this month has had the worst air in the nation for a couple of days. THE NATION! It has been red air days practically all month. Do you Arizonions know what a red air day is? Should be confused with a Red Letter Day.
