Want to know me, check out my pictures!

Truth be told, I am older than your average wedding or portrait photographer, but not yet over-the-hill.  Dut don't let that put you off.  Check my pictures here on the blog or on my website and see that I SHOOT YOUNG.

I appreciate all the stages of life and have experienced most of them, at my age, ya know.  I love all the areas of photography that I create. Click on the darkened sentence at the end of each paragraph for samplings.

Children I love because their expressions are new, inventive and  almost always surprising.  Having 8 grandchildren, 9th on the way, ought to help, don't you think? Check it out!

Seniors are also inventive.  The girls want to look beautiful and the guys, cool.  I want that, too. Having fun, helping them relax and then just sitting back and clicking away.  I always like to choose the location that suits their persona and the locations are varied.    Check out this Senior.

Families have a tough time because there is usually a male in the mix.  Men hate to have their picture taken and it is like pulling teeth to get them to the location.  I get that.  But let me tell you, it's all about relaxing and having fun with the whole experience.  And that is my job.  If your family is having fun, it's painless and the images will turn out great.  I'm all about capturing the memories of the day.  Make it memorable.

Now Weddings...I love the weddings.  A bride all lit up and a groom that can't keep his off of his bride.  It's magic!  A couple in love always makes me and my photography look good.  See!

I hope you can see that I love what I do and I would love for you to ENJOY THE EXPERIENCE with me.  Call 480-510-9780 or email me today. janet@justmejanet.com

Remember That Day?

I take pictures to REMEMBER.  That’s why I like these new camera phones.  If I need remember a particular thing, I take a picture of something that reminds me of it so I don’t forget.  Then when I see that image, later, it reminds me that I was supposed to remember something that reminded me...

Tasty Temptation Teaser

I was riding the blogon-trail just now, passing through some of my favorites.   Particularly THE PIONEER WOMAN’s cooking section.  If you’re wondering what to make for dinner because you haven’t got a clue, stop by this one and your dreams will come true.  My stomach began to grumble.  It said, “Hey, you up there!...

I Thirst, Therefore I Leave

Tomorrow the forecast calls for an  82..where is that sign?…degree hike.  (Does anyone know how to do that little degrees sign on this keyboard?)  82…eighty-two…EIGHTY-TWO!  I don’t like that.  Just the thought of it dries my throat.  But I know the secret that makes the heat easier to live with.  It works like it was...

Dustin & Monique: Shootout

What we would learned, last week in Vegas, would not stay in Vegas this time.  The things we learned were meant to leave and take back home where we should grow from them.  10,000 photographers skipped the gambling this year which left us without a seat for some of the best known photographers in the...

10 Years Shy

90 years would have been a long time to live, but she didn’t make it that far.  She was short 10 years.  She left us before she would hold my first grandchild and the 7 that followed him.  She missed weddings and graduations, ball games and laughter…lot’s of laughter.  She wasn’t here for the tears,...
