Want to know me, check out my pictures!

Truth be told, I am older than your average wedding or portrait photographer, but not yet over-the-hill.  Dut don't let that put you off.  Check my pictures here on the blog or on my website and see that I SHOOT YOUNG.

I appreciate all the stages of life and have experienced most of them, at my age, ya know.  I love all the areas of photography that I create. Click on the darkened sentence at the end of each paragraph for samplings.

Children I love because their expressions are new, inventive and  almost always surprising.  Having 8 grandchildren, 9th on the way, ought to help, don't you think? Check it out!

Seniors are also inventive.  The girls want to look beautiful and the guys, cool.  I want that, too. Having fun, helping them relax and then just sitting back and clicking away.  I always like to choose the location that suits their persona and the locations are varied.    Check out this Senior.

Families have a tough time because there is usually a male in the mix.  Men hate to have their picture taken and it is like pulling teeth to get them to the location.  I get that.  But let me tell you, it's all about relaxing and having fun with the whole experience.  And that is my job.  If your family is having fun, it's painless and the images will turn out great.  I'm all about capturing the memories of the day.  Make it memorable.

Now Weddings...I love the weddings.  A bride all lit up and a groom that can't keep his off of his bride.  It's magic!  A couple in love always makes me and my photography look good.  See!

I hope you can see that I love what I do and I would love for you to ENJOY THE EXPERIENCE with me.  Call 480-510-9780 or email me today. janet@justmejanet.com

New Camera? Try The Perfect Light

I hope your Christmas was merry and your new year looks bright.
I know some of you may have gotten new cameras for Christmas.  Wow and congratulations!  I thought maybe I would offer a few tips on my favorite places to take pictures.  I love shooting at the window.  The light is diffused so beautifully there....

“God Bless Us Every One”

It’s my time to wish you all a Merry Christmas.
Not because I have to and not because someone made me do it.
It’s not because it’s the fashionable thing to do, either.
I do not believe that Santa won’t come if I don’t wish it to everyone.
It isn’t even because I love to hear the sing-song sound...

Oranges or Snow-You Pick

I know some of you are still digging yourselves out of the mounds of snow you have received and probably deserve, (that’s a good thing…right?)  But I live in Arizona and even though we want a white Christmas, we ain’t gonna get it.  That’s the down side of the South West.  However, White may not...

Be Yourself…No, Your Other Self

It’s that time once again, comes every year.  It’s time for friends and family to gather and SHARE.  SHARE ourselves with our loved ones.  And in doing so we tend to get a little extroverted, for lack of a better word.  Now, we’re not a drinking family.  But you wouldn’t know it to see us...

Last But Not Least

There is always a LAST.  Your last cookie of the year, should be coming up soon, folks.  Your last good-bye, said bye to my Dad 4 years ago this Christmas, but we won’t go there.  Your last test in that class, your finals.  There is a sweet bitterness to the last, final, end of things.
But...

Family: No Empty Chairs

Kim’s the kind of person you call when you need a lift.  Not in the car but in your life.  A word of caution: it’s not without it’s “awareness.” Huh? you say.  She’s got a lot of insight, born of trials, which she refers to as “Kim’s Entertainment.”  You can always count on her for...
