Want to know me, check out my pictures!

Truth be told, I am older than your average wedding or portrait photographer, but not yet over-the-hill.  Dut don't let that put you off.  Check my pictures here on the blog or on my website and see that I SHOOT YOUNG.

I appreciate all the stages of life and have experienced most of them, at my age, ya know.  I love all the areas of photography that I create. Click on the darkened sentence at the end of each paragraph for samplings.

Children I love because their expressions are new, inventive and  almost always surprising.  Having 8 grandchildren, 9th on the way, ought to help, don't you think? Check it out!

Seniors are also inventive.  The girls want to look beautiful and the guys, cool.  I want that, too. Having fun, helping them relax and then just sitting back and clicking away.  I always like to choose the location that suits their persona and the locations are varied.    Check out this Senior.

Families have a tough time because there is usually a male in the mix.  Men hate to have their picture taken and it is like pulling teeth to get them to the location.  I get that.  But let me tell you, it's all about relaxing and having fun with the whole experience.  And that is my job.  If your family is having fun, it's painless and the images will turn out great.  I'm all about capturing the memories of the day.  Make it memorable.

Now Weddings...I love the weddings.  A bride all lit up and a groom that can't keep his off of his bride.  It's magic!  A couple in love always makes me and my photography look good.  See!

I hope you can see that I love what I do and I would love for you to ENJOY THE EXPERIENCE with me.  Call 480-510-9780 or email me today. janet@justmejanet.com

Haunting Harry

I will apologize now for anyone that has seen any of the following before.  But this time of year I’m afraid it bears repeating.
I speak of Harry Potter, the wizard.  In celebration of Harry and all who understand the spirit of him and those like him, we shall dress-up and walk from house to house,...

Old Laughter

Friends make the best clients because, for the most part, they pay you in kind.  Kind words, kind gifts, kind conversations…you know just plain old kind people.  I love my friends for all their varied interests and personalities.  But there is one friend that is my oldest.  Not like Dr. Huxtable’s “old as dirt” kind...

ORANGE Ya Glad It’s Autumn?

Orange is such a fun unique color.  However, it really is not that continually visible on this good earth.  Blue is…sky, water, even dark Kentucky grass can look blue.  Green is there in the trees and sea foam and those other trees.
Orange is different.  Orange is seasonal.  In order to see it you have...

Secrets of the Beautiful Bride

“Gorgeous,” “Beautiful,” “Radiant,” “Lovely,” “Dazzling,” Exquisite,” and, just so I don’t go on forever, “Pulchritudinous,” (yes I said “Pulchritudinous.”)  All words describing THE BRIDE. A SPECIFIC BRIDE. Not an ordinary bride that just wants to be married and a she’ll stand for nothing less than a wedding that’s big, extravagant, expensive.  This, dear readers, does...

A Taste O’ Texas

My Father was born in Idaho, and I don’t recall hearing one thing he ever said about the place.  Not that I don’t love Idaho.  It’s a gorgeous, versatile state.  I love driving the hilly highways of farmland.  The greens are more varied there than in any other state I have visited.  But he never...

The Art of a Woman

You know the song that begins, “I often go walking…?”  da da da “…meadows of sunshine…,”  la la la “…dear mother reminds me of you.” You know how it goes.  Anyway, there are a few things I do and see on occasion or routinely that remind me of certain people in my life.
When I see...
