Want to know me, check out my pictures!

Truth be told, I am older than your average wedding or portrait photographer, but not yet over-the-hill.  Dut don't let that put you off.  Check my pictures here on the blog or on my website and see that I SHOOT YOUNG.

I appreciate all the stages of life and have experienced most of them, at my age, ya know.  I love all the areas of photography that I create. Click on the darkened sentence at the end of each paragraph for samplings.

Children I love because their expressions are new, inventive and  almost always surprising.  Having 8 grandchildren, 9th on the way, ought to help, don't you think? Check it out!

Seniors are also inventive.  The girls want to look beautiful and the guys, cool.  I want that, too. Having fun, helping them relax and then just sitting back and clicking away.  I always like to choose the location that suits their persona and the locations are varied.    Check out this Senior.

Families have a tough time because there is usually a male in the mix.  Men hate to have their picture taken and it is like pulling teeth to get them to the location.  I get that.  But let me tell you, it's all about relaxing and having fun with the whole experience.  And that is my job.  If your family is having fun, it's painless and the images will turn out great.  I'm all about capturing the memories of the day.  Make it memorable.

Now Weddings...I love the weddings.  A bride all lit up and a groom that can't keep his off of his bride.  It's magic!  A couple in love always makes me and my photography look good.  See!

I hope you can see that I love what I do and I would love for you to ENJOY THE EXPERIENCE with me.  Call 480-510-9780 or email me today. janet@justmejanet.com

Family: No Empty Chairs

Kim’s the kind of person you call when you need a lift.  Not in the car but in your life.  A word of caution: it’s not without it’s “awareness.” Huh? you say.  She’s got a lot of insight, born of trials, which she refers to as “Kim’s Entertainment.”  You can always count on her for...

Phun Phamalee Photos

I love it when a family walks into the studio and has a plan in mind for what they want their family picture to look like ‘this year.’  Because if the client is having fun then I am having fun and the images will reflect the spirit of the effort.  With these ‘kinds of people,’...

Grab Your Buddy For This Shot

I’m always up for taking pictures of “the willing.”  In the case of these two, they were ready.  And why not?  When her little guy wrapped his arms around his mama, it was show time.  It’s much easier to be in front of the camera when you have something in your hands, better yet, your...

First Rule of Photography: Do Unto Others…

I’ve always been an advocate of fun.  Fun times with family, friends.  Good old-fashioned, wholesome fun.  Like the  Sea Witch said, “It’s what I do, it’s what I live for.”
This kind of fun can be done on either side of the camera.  I submit the following as evidence, using this simple formula. IF THE CAMERMAN...

These Three: A Family

One, Two, Three, numbers we count so often they come to mind every one, two or three minutes.  ”Three’s a crowd.”  ”If you don’t stop, I am going to count to 3.”  What’s that one about “third time’s the charm?”  And, after all, don’t you think a tri-angle is so much more interesting than a square?
It...

Red Sky at Dawn

“The early bird catches the worm.”  Heard it all my life.  But I hated worms.  What I knew about worms, I first learned while fishing with my Dad.  He’d ask me if I wanted to bait the hook?  ”Sure, Dad, how do I do that?”  ”They’re in that bottle in the tackle box.”  Looking in...
